Who runs this site
AlessBC is a personal blog run by Bartosz Kędziora (Alessias) in Poland. For anything about your data, message me on LinkedIn.
What this site stores
Nothing about you. The site is a set of static pages: there is no database, no login and no contact form.
- No cookies. This site doesn’t set any.
- No analytics or trackers. I don’t count visitors or follow you around the web.
- Fonts are hosted here, so your browser doesn’t contact Google or any other font service.
- Search runs in your browser. What you type into search never leaves your device.
Your browser’s storage
If you switch between light and dark theme, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage so the site remembers it next time. It stays on your device and is never sent to me. Clear your browser’s site data to remove it.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from attacks, Cloudflare processes technical data about each request, such as your IP address, your browser type and the page you asked for. Cloudflare may also set a strictly necessary security cookie if it needs to check that a visitor is not a bot. This processing is based on a legitimate interest in keeping the site available and secure (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Cloudflare acts as a processor and handles this data under its own privacy policy.
Links to other sites
The share buttons at the end of each post are ordinary links. Nothing is sent to LinkedIn or X until you click one, and then their own privacy policies apply. “Copy link” only uses your device’s clipboard.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask what personal data I hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted. Since this site doesn’t store any, there’s usually nothing to hand over, but you’re welcome to ask. You can also complain to the Polish data protection authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).
