About
Hi, I'm Bartosz Kędziora, known online as Alessias. I'm a Business Central consultant and AL developer in Poznań, Poland, and I came to ERP from manufacturing.
From manufacturing to ERP
I started as a mechanical engineer. After a master’s degree at Poznań University of Technology, I spent almost eight years at an automotive supplier as a design engineer and later project manager. I took products from design to mass production, ran FMEA workshops, prepared documentation for IATF 16949 audits, rolled out product data management, and configured JD Edwards to fit how the plant worked.
Then I made a deliberate switch from manufacturing to ERP. I didn’t leave manufacturing behind, though: I want to use that experience to build better solutions. When a Business Central project touches production, costing or quality, I know what the people on the shop floor need from the system, because I worked alongside them and relied on an ERP system every day myself.
What I do today
I work as an ERP consultant and developer, a role I started in January 2024. My work moves between two sides: sitting with finance and operations teams to understand how they really work, and turning that into Business Central solutions in AL. That means mapping AS-IS and TO-BE processes, writing UAT scripts and running test sessions with key users, building the solution, and creating test automation frameworks from scratch.
